Focus Group Discussion 2018 in Pagar Alam

On Tuesday (13/11), the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Pagar Alam City in collaboration with the City Government of Pagar Alam held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with the theme "Implementing One Data to Realize Sustainable Development Goals in Pagar Alam City". The FGD was held at the Hall of Hotel & Villa Wisata Gunung Gare, Pagar Alam City and was attended by participants from Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD), vertical agencies, academics (universities) and businessmen. In his remarks, the Mayor of Pagar Alam, Mr. Alpian Maskoni, S.H., emphasized that this FGD is important so that all stakeholders in Pagar Alam City can work hand in hand to realize the ONE DATA concept in Pagar Alam City. "The concept of one data is very important for the success of the stakeholders together so that the existing data on each stakeholder in the City of Pagar Alam becomes of higher quality and can be used for planning and evaluation of development", concluded the Mayor of Pagar Alam. In this FGD, there were two resource persons who delivered material related to the theme raised in the FGD, with the Head of BPS Kota Pagar Alam (Dedi Fahlevi, M.Si) as the moderator. The first resource person was the Head of BPS South Sumatra Province (who on this occasion was represented by Mr. Herri Mimaryanto, S.Si., M.M.). The first resource person presented material about One Data and its relation to the Sustainable Development Goals. Then, the second resource person in this FGD was Mr. Ir. Bron Laksana, S.Ag as Plt. Head of the Pagar Alam City Communication and Informatics Office. The second resource person explained the material about the role of sectoral statistics in realizing one data in Pagar Alam City. The presentation from the speakers was then closed with a question and answer session related to the material presented. The participants were quite enthusiastic in listening to the material and giving questions to the speakers. In addition, the FGD this time was also interspersed with an award ceremony for exemplary respondents from the BPS version of Pagar Alam City. This award was given directly by the Mayor of Pagar Alam. The purpose of giving this award is to appreciate the enthusiasm of the respondents so far in the routine data collection conducted by BPS Kota Pagar Alam. It is hoped that by giving this award, the cooperation between the respondents and the BPS Kota Pagar Alam will strengthen so that the data obtained becomes accurate data.
