On Thursday (07/23), at the Bhina Praja Auditorium in Palembang, BPS RI expressed its highest appreciation and gratitude to the Government of South Sumatra Province for their support in the implementation of the Online Population Census. At the district / city level, a total of 9 districts / cities in South Sumatra also exceeded the target response rate, one of which was Kota Pagar Alam.
In the implementation of the 2020 Online Population Census in February-May 2020, South Sumatra Province succeeded in achieving the second highest national response rate after Bali Province. The target response rate is 29.25 percent of the de facto population and South Sumatra Province is able to achieve a response rate of 33.96 percent of the de facto population. On the other hand, Kota Pagar Alam was able to achieve a response rate of 39.17 percent of the de facto population, exceeding the set response rate target of 37.50 percent of the de facto population (108.39 percent of the target already set).
On the occasion, H. Herman Deru, S.H., M.M., expressed his highest appreciation to the entire population of South Sumatra Province for their active participation in the Online Population Census, including also to residents of Kota Pagar Alam who have helped to succeed the Online Population Census. The Governor of South Sumatra Province expressed his happiness over the achievements achieved by districts / cities in South Sumatra Province in this Online Population Census. According to him, coordination, collaboration and elaboration are the keys to success in the implementation of the Online Population Census in South Sumatra.
Also not forgetting, Dedi Fahlevi, M.Si as the head of BPS of Pagar Alam City expressed his gratitude to 54,981 inhabitants of Kota Pagar Alam who participated actively in the Online Population Census yesterday, according to him, coordination, collaboration and elaboration between stakeholders as well as enthusiasm and active participation Kota Pagar Alam residents are the key to success of the Online Population Census implementation series in Kota Pagar Alam. Dedi hopes that the coordination, collaboration and elaboration between stakeholders will not only stop at the implementation of the Online Population Census, but also continue until the implementation of the Field Population Census in September.
