BPS Starts Carrying Out AGRICULTURE CENSUS 2023

Today, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) began carrying out the 2023 Agricultural Census (ST2023) throughout Indonesia.

The Agricultural Census is carried out once every ten years in the year ending in 3 according to the mandate of Law Number 16 of 1997 concerning Statistics and referring to FAO.

President Joko Widodo supports the implementation of ST2023, "I support the implementation of ST2023 so that this census really produces data that is accurate, up-to-date and reliable," he said during the Declaration of Implementation of ST2023 last May. ST2023 aims to provide agricultural structure data, especially for agricultural units.
