BPS ATTENDANCE AT REMEDY OF STUNTING REDUCTION ACTION AND INFORMATION OF FOSTER FACTORS

On Tuesday (30/5), the City of Pagar Alam BPS attended the Deliberation Action to Reduce Stunting and the Inauguration of Foster Mothers at the Level of Pagar Alam City in 2023. The meeting was attended by sub-district, sub-district and OPD officials in Pagar Alam City. Taking place at Villa Dempo Flower, the event was opened directly by the Mayor of Pagar Alam, Mr. Alpian Maskoni, S.H.

The presence of BPS City of Pagar Alam as one of the OPDs was represented by BPS Officer of City of Pagar Alam, Rani Aprilia Putri, S.Tr.Stat. The main issue discussed in this action meeting was the success of Pagar Alam City in accelerating the reduction of stunting to 11.5%. Where this value is below the target value of 14%. Then another issue is the Inauguration of Foster Mothers. For information, the Foster Movement for Stunting Children is an assistance program provided by donors as foster parents to address the problem of stunting, through educational activities on parenting parents of stunted children, as well as financial support to provide balanced nutrition for stunted children
