PARTICIPATION OF THE HEAD OF PAGAR ALAM CITY BPS IN THE LAUNCHING OF GOV RICE RESERVE AID 2023

Head of BPS Pagar Alam City, Mr. Aldianda Maisal, S.E., M.M. today (26/09) participated in attending the Launching of the Government's Rice Food Reserve Assistance which took place at the Nendagung Terminal Terminal Market. This rice food assistance was provided to more than 2500 Beneficiary Families (KPM) for 3 months from September, October and November 2023.

Through this event, the Pagar Alam City Government distributed rice food aid simultaneously, where the person responsible for the event was the Pagar Alam City Food Security and Livestock Service. Officially, also present were Pj. The Mayor of Pagar Alam, Mr. H. Lusapta Yudha Kurnia, also invited several OPDs and members of the Pagar Alam City DPRD.

During the launch, one of the event agendas was to symbolically give basic necessities to 10 heads of households. On this occasion, the Head of BPS Pagar Alam City participated in the symbolic giving of basic food supplies to one of the Beneficiary Families (KPM).

Head of the Food Security and Livestock Service of Pagar Alam City, Mrs. Ir. Hj. Zaitun M.Si., said that with this program it is hoped that it can reduce the burden of expenditure on the target community receiving food aid. The rice food assistance program is also implemented in order to reduce food insecurity, poverty and malnutrition, as well as control the impact of inflation to maintain food price stability at the producer and consumer levels.
