The participation rate for consumption of all types of eggs simultaneously reached 92.77 percent. In other words, around 9 out of 10 households in Indonesia consume eggs.

Based on the Survei Sosial Ekonomi Nasioal (Susenas) in March 2023, the average Indonesian population spends IDR 18,623 on egg consumption, or the equivalent of 10 chicken eggs per capita per month.
