As we know, the majority of people in Indonesia consume rice as their staple food, including the people of Pagar Alam Municipality. How much the people of Pagar Alam consume rice? This can be seen from one of the surveys conducted by Badan Pusat Statistik, namely Survei Sosial dan Ekonomi Nasional (Susenas).
Based on Susenas 2022, the average consumption of rice (including local, superior quality, imported rice) per capita per week in Pagar Alam Municipalty is 1,615 kg. This means that each person consumes an average of 1.615 kg of rice per week. This figure has increased compared to 2021 which was at 1,577 kg.
