[BPS PARTICIPATION IN GPISS AND OPM ACTIVITIES OF PAGAR ALAM CITY]

On Monday (29/01) BPS Pagar Alam City, represented by Young Expert Statistics, Muhammad Iqbal, S.E. attended the zoom meeting for the Simultaneous Launching of the South Sumatra Inflation Control Movement (GPISS) and the Cheap Market Operation (OPM) simultaneously which was attended by Acting. The Mayor of Pagar Alam, H. Lusapta Yudha Kurnia, is located in the courtyard of the Pagar Alam Mayor's Office.

The GPISS and OPM launching activities were inaugurated directly by the Acting Governor of South Sumatra Agus Fatoni and witnessed virtually by the Regional Heads of South Sumatra.

GPISS, which collaborates with district/city governments, BUMN, BUMD and banks, is a concrete step from the South Sumatra Provincial Government to reduce the rate of inflation.

The Pagar Alam City Government itself has prepared 630 basic food packages for the Cheap Market Operation which is centered in the grounds of the Pagar Alam Mayor's office. This OPM is one of the strategies or actions of the Pagar Alam City Government in an effort to overcome inflation in Pagar Alam City. Apart from that, this activity also aims to help relieve the economy and meet the needs of the people of Pagar Alam City.
