Abstract

• Similar to April - June 2020, in July 2020 there are no foreign tourists (tourists) who come to visit South Sumatra through the entrance to Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport in Palembang due to the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

• The room occupancy rate (TPK) of star hotels in South Sumatra in July 2020 was recorded at 39.54 percent, or an increase of 7.45 points compared to the ROR for hotels in June 2020 which was 32.09 percent. The highest ROR for hotels was four-star hotels at 46.86 percent and the lowest was one-star hotels at 28.09 percent

• The average length of stay of guests in South Sumatra in July 2020 at star hotels was 1.42 days or decreased by 0.02 days compared to June 2020. With details of 3.47 days, the average length of stay of foreign guests and 1.41 days on average - average length of stay for domestic guests.

• The longest average length of stay for guests was at three-star hotels, namely 2.06 days and the shortest being 1.12 days at one-star hotels.
