Abstract

In March 2024, the Percentage of Poor People was 8.18 percent, which decreased by 0.70 percentage points compared to March 2023.
The number of people living in poverty in March 2024 was 11.82 thousand individuals, a decrease of 910 people from March 2023.
The poverty line in March 2024 was recorded at Rp 427,007 per capita per month, an increase of Rp 18,090 compared to March 2023.
In March 2024, the Poverty Depth Index (average expenditure gap of the poor relative to the poverty line) in Pagar Alam Municipality decreased to 1.00 compared to March 2023. Similarly, during the same period, the Poverty Severity Index (inequality in expenditure among the poor) in Pagar Alam Municipality also decreased to 0.16.
