Abstract

The Construction Cost Index (IKK) is a price index that describes the level of construction costs in a district/city compared to the reference city in 2023, namely Makassar City. The selection of reference cities is based on areas that have an index close to the national average index, and considers the completeness of the data source. IKK data was collected through the Construction Price Survey specifically for building/construction materials, heavy equipment rentals, and construction service wages which were carried out in all districts/cities in Indonesia. Data collection was carried out in 4 periods, namely quarters III-IV in 2022 and quarters I-II in 2023. IKK 2023 is one of the main components used to calculate the General Allocation Fund (DAU) for the 2024 fiscal year.
