Gross Regional Domestic Product of Pagar Alam Municipality by Expenditure 2019-2023

The Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) is one of the economic data tools that can be used to evaluate the economic development performance of a region (province as well as districts/cities). This data tool can also be utilized for other purposes and objectives, such as serving as the basis for developing economic models in formulating policies, determining the velocity of money, deepening the financial sector, setting taxes, studying exports and imports, and so on. This publication specifically discusses the GRDP according to the expenditure/final demand approach. This approach is detailed into several components, namely: Household Final Consumption Expenditure, Final Consumption Expenditure of Non-Profit Institutions Serving Households, Government Final Consumption Expenditure, Investment (Gross Fixed Capital Formation and Changes in Inventories), and Net Exports (exports minus imports). The GRDP data in this publication, as well as subsequent publications, use the 2010 base year and already apply the concepts of the System of National Accounts 2008 as recommended by the United Nations.
