The Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) is an indicator used to measure labor that is not absorbed by the job market and describes the underutilization of labor supply. The TPT results from Sakernas August 2023 in Pagar Alam City are 2.67%, meaning that out of 100 people in the workforce there are 2 to 3 people who are unemployed.

The TPT value for August 2023 has decreased compared to August 2023. This indicates that unemployment in 2023 is lower than in 2022. However, despite the decline, the problem of unemployment has not completely disappeared and efforts are still needed to reduce unemployment in the future.
