Today (23/07/2024) the Head of BPS Pagar Alam City, Sukerik S.ST, M.Si. accompanied by the Young Expert Statistician of Pagar Alam City, Armula Pratama, S.ST held an audience regarding the poverty profile of Pagar Alam City 2024 with the Acting Mayor of Pagar Alam H. Lusapta Yudha Kurnia, SE.,MM. The audience was also attended by the Acting Regional Secretary, Dahnial Nasution, AP.,M.Si. and the Head of Bappeda, Novi Apriyadi, SE.,MM. The main topic discussed was the extreme poverty conditions of Pagar Alam City which fell from 0.94% to 0.62%.

Comprehensively, it can be said that the Pagar Alam City Government has succeeded in reducing the poverty rate in Pagar Alam City in 2024. Where, the percentage of poor people in 2023 was 8.88 down to 8.18 in 2024
