The economic structure of Pagar Alam Municipality is dominated by five main sectors, namely:Agriculture; Forestry and Fishing (22.64 percent), Whlosale and Retail Trade; Repair of Motor Vehicles dan Motorcycles (19.63 percent), Construction (16.60 percent), Education (10.17 percent) and Real Estate (5.72 percent).
